Vicky has her high school students creating amazing wikis in her program - check out the wiki they are creating about Online safety practices.

Change Agency - Advocating a better education system for the 21st Century.: School districts across the state adopt their own grade level classification policies, but careful analysis of the TAKS structure and alignment reveals that no promotion/retention policy in the state will be able to support the goal of increasing student achievement under current testing policies that require students to be tested strictly by grade level. If districts, like HISD, develop policies that allow students to be promoted regardless of whether or not they have taken or passed course work necessary for the next grade level, then there is the potential for students to be tested on material that they have not even had the opportunity to learn. Davis is an outspoken Christian, a private school teacher in Georgia - and she's got a long, scathing critique of the Deleting Online Predators Act (DOPA) congressional proposal.
