[Preoccupations] Last year I wrote that Reboot 7 was 'far and away the best conference experience I have known and has so farresisted my attempts to write it up: too much to say, with each line ofthought multiplying into several new ones as idea leads on to idea'. Licence to Roam: The truth - probably somewhere between the two?) An interesting decision - Amanda has a personal brand, ina way she is Rocketboom. If that programme continues and Amanda does her own thng, I'm guessing a lot of the audience will move with her and Rocketboom is going to lose a lot of brand equity. (via Cosmos)
DLTQ.org: This year, I took a much more laid-back approach to it and just enjoyed listening to the presentations and talking with people. Theprogramme offered activities in 1-3 rooms and I followed this stream: Day 1 :: Opening-Michael Thomsen-Making Senses-Workshop. (via Cosmos)
N=1: It requires no stretch of the imagination to conclude that the current helmet craze is likely to have been propagated by the Government, possibly with the involvement of the FCC. We hope this report will encourage the paranoid community to develop improved helmet designs to avoid falling prey to these shortcomings. (via Cosmos)
