Web Two > Myspace Launches Ad-Supported IM
[Micro Persuasion] It is fascinating to see AOL and MySpace going head to head after each other's turf all in an effort to court marketers hungry for teens. It's like a Web 1.0 company (aspiring to become a 2.0) taking on the crowned prince of Web 2.0.

[Socialsoftware.weblogsinc.com] The Social Software Weblog: I couldn't be more excited about the work being done over at ZapTXT, a great service that filters your selected RSS feeds for keywords and will send you an IM, email or SMS whenever new results appear. Now the service is answering the call of users who want to filter multiple RSS feeds bundled into an OPML file all for the same query without having to repeat set-up for each feed filtered.
[Readwriteweb.com] Read/WriteWeb: Web 2.0 is dead. RIP: Trying to be the "web 2.0" guy in Korea, ever since the web2con ended, I started realiziing that "web 2.0" term is almost useless now, in a way that it's done with its job and maybe we can all move on without using that term ever again. When something new and tremendous becomes ubiquotous, we don't have to really call it by name or even be consciously aware of it because it's just there in our everyday life just like in Gartner's hype cycle.
