Web Two > Jobs in Social Media and Web 2.0 on the Rise!

[Lisa Whelan] When I'm curious about what particular companies are up to/ the strategic direction they're heading, I often look on their careers web pages and scroll through the open vacancies.  It is hard for companies (especially those in high-tech) to find what they're looking for in candidates without getting specific about the specific skills they're after.

But MySpace isn't anything like Elvis.

[Brianstocker.org] BrianStocker.org: With the release of statistics of the incredible growth of Web2 and Social Bookmarking, it is easy to lose sight of the fact that many people still don’t know what Social Bookmarking is, much less how to use it to increase traffic to their websites. See my previous post where I may have gotten a little ahead of myself.

[Crunchnotes.com] CrunchNotes » GigaJobs: I can very quickly prove why Mike’s comments are based out of fear of losing out to Om, not out of a need for more decentralization and openness (Mike’s blog attracts wannabees, developers and dreamers, people without enough practicle experience to know that all Techcrunch profiles are features, not companies (Renkoo anyone?) Om’s attracts serious businesspeople with down to earth journalism grounded in thorough analysis. Who do you think will win when the bubble bursts?
