Web Two > If I Can't Have a Revenue Model, Then Neither Can You!
[Newsome.Org] People try so hard to couch the Web 2.0, blogosphere, etc. thing as a real business, but when a real business, with an actual revenue model, makes a smart and logical business decision to protect that revenue, a lot of those same people cry foul.

At a business conference in Saint John encouraging the eastern seaboard to work together for "business without boundaries", local photoblogger Charles Leblanc was arrested for obstructing justice. He is asking for a public inquiry in the police's actions in his arrest - which was captured on video by the CBC cameraman standing by his side when he was "obstructing justice".
[Newcommblogzine.com] New Communications Review » Blog Archive » Using the Web2.0 ...: There's no doubt that dumb as we may find some of the web2.0 "oooh, I made a website!" silliness out there, if you pitch it right and get a kick start from blogs like TechCrunch and others where the blog/web2.0 crowd is dense (pun not entirely unintended), you can get an awful lot of link love. And I'm thinking that if you're smart, and build your site with Search in mind, you may just be able to jump the "tech gap" (the gap between your first 25k users and real users.)
