[Philippine Technology BLOG - Tech Stop Tech Stuff] Generate Web 2.0-ish Stripes: Notice the cool looking overly used stripes on thousands web 2.0 (ish) sites that pop up each day? Well, these stripes were used to be made only by web2.0 gurus and graphic designers.
[Biz at Penalicio.us] My Follower Adder: Blogging here is one of the first steps towards this goal. Feel free to follow me in my other social media accounts. Remember, the early adopters stand to have the largest following once My Follower Adder launches. If everything works out in the timeline as planned, My Follower Adder should launch in mid June. Until then, I can still build a growing interest in the project by blogging about it and inviting top Web 2.0 programmers (Joomla 1.5 plus plugins and templates) to bid on my project.
[The Blog From Hell] How to hack people.: What you need to do to really hack people - is take what used to be difficult and make it fun. Everytime somebody achieves that - he’s about to cause a social revolution.

[Notes From Tomorrow] So I've been wondering...: The other day, it struck me: Apple's pattern has thus far been to take open-ish standards, re-brand them and then build services around them. The examples are many: iTunes/iPod (mp3), iMovie/Quicktime (MOV/MPEG-4), iDVD (DVD), Airport(802.11x) - the list goes on.

[One man, One blog] Thanks Mint, now I know where my money goes: I’ve used Microsoft Money and Quicken, but neither comes close to the ease and useability of Mint, a startup that tracks personal finances. Mint gives a ”refreshing” way to managing your money through its ease-of-use and web2.0-ish design. Even their business model adds to the experience by showing you how much you would save by switching checking accounts, credit cards, etc, from which they take a cut. Mint has raised some $16.7 million in the past six months from Shasta Ventures and Benchmark Capital and signed up over 100,000 users. I think this one is a winner - hopefully it has staying power. The only problem is, now I know where I spend my money.

[Internet Famous Class] Week in Tech Ish: Flickr Vids, Google App Engine, Adobe Media ...: I dig the Vimeo-style no-chrome player, and the 90 second limit seems like a good way to encourage “enhancing” photosets rather than turning Flickr into a video community.
[Chanel's Blog] Using jQuery at Grooveshark: This is not exactly what we do (currently using inline event handler - I know, not very web2.0-ish of me), but this is the basic idea. The html elements themselves contain a reference to the data they represent so whenever a user .
[NO!SPEC] Pixish = Spec-ish?: Sure someone can get really cheap/free photography done at a place like Pixish, but if you want a professional looking image created for an advertising campaign, you are just going to have to hire someone to do it properly. You can search the web for days on end trying to find a cheap/free alternative, but nothing will ever compare to how a pro photographer will approach your peoject, understand the goals, and take it seriously enough to produce good work.

[Sven Haiges' Personal Wiki, Blog & More] Life in the US - the first 6 months: After we spent some time in temp housing during the first month, we soon moved on to our final housing destination here in Sunnyvale. We now live in a nice but expensive apartment community, we got an outdoor pool that is heated all year long (what an incredible waste of energy…) and it is just 10 minutes to work for me.

[Web2.0 in High School] Thanks for NOTHING Mr Rudd.: 6 years ago-ish (before my time), Ross Cutts came to our school as the Head of Technology. From all accounts, the school had a few gen 2 iMacs and the odd dusty PC.
[ITchurch.com] I think I just threw-up Web2.0: Tired of that Web 1.0 feel with its text and bland colors? Well take a look at this! An entire catalog of web2.0-ish sites! Is that good? I dont know, but it is fun to play with! Even the Web2.0 directory feels pretty Web2.o-ish. ...
