[UMBC eBiquity Blog] It shows the distribution across various Internet top level domains of (1) the sites that Swoogle has crawled, (2) ontology documents that Swoogle has discovered, and (3) all Semantic Web documents it has discovered. The “pure SWDs” are RDF documents in some form (e.g., XML, N3) and excluding XHTML documents with embedded RDF.

Why Does Web 2.0 Terminology Scare Publishers?
[IP Democracy] I also love the fact that Scott works for a traditional print media company that is itself coming to grips with the amazingly rapid transformations in the publishing industry. It’s hard for dead-tree publishers to grok the new lingo and quite a few old-timers are ducking for cover hoping this whole Web 2.0 business will blow over.

Blog, Podcast, and RSS advertising ... grows almost 200% in 2005!
[Qumana Blog :: Main Page] We all know that online advertising is increase by leaps and bounds year over year and quarter over quarter (roughly 30% a year). But if you look only at the blog, podcast, and RSS segment (or consumer generated media -- CGM) it increased 198% in 2005 and shooting for 145% in 2006. This is according to a new report by PQ Media (report intro and press release).

[My Name is Kate] Billed as Canada's Web 2.0 Conference, Mesh wants to be hip, but sorry, I don't think any confernece that can only find about 6 slots for women in a speaking roster over 50 strong qualifies as anything but old-school, Web 2.0 or not.
